It was 4:00 a.m. and the coyotes started howling, then my dog started barking at the coyotes, then (of all things) an ambulance started blasting its siren, and then the piese de resistance: Mrs. Chumly decided to get up and rummage in the kitchen!

The dog close to 7:00 a.m.

My better half with a mug of coffee.
What woke me up?
This appetite for life, the dawn of a new and beautiful day and this feeling of certainty that beauty and love are out there for me to reap..
@dyslexia,
No, my physiology allows me a bigger span of time, therefore I can enjoy a perfect wake-up..
I'm sorry for those whose contingencies are bitching their lives..
Cheers, Bob!
Urine-luck if you don't need an alarm clock.
I have always been a early riser. I tried to sleep in today, but it could not be done. So I made coffee and watched some news show.
This morning nothing but time woke me up - at noon! I usually have much better stories than that one. I'll be back.
@littlek,
The luxury of a late snooze!
