On the web, place your cursor over the pic you want and right click.
select "copy link location". Try it with the pic I have posted above

open the A2K post a reply box

click "img" (red) right click in the address line and select paste click ok and submit

When you have had a go at hot linking as per above I will walk you through copying asting saving and uploading from your machine to a host site.

Just by the way my operating system is win XP. if you have an earlier version things may be different.

On the chance that your advice was free, I right clicked on the picture. Nowhere does it say "copy link location."

BTW, I've got XP

Roberta: Right click on the dragon picture above. Then left click on PROPERTIES, copy the address of the URL (http/: blah blah..)

then left click on IMG above. An address window will open (if it doesn't, you may have a pop-up blocker set to ON) PASTE the copied URL into the block.

Voila

copy image location. Im gonna assume thats not there as well.

ok what operating system?

What does it say when you right click on the image?

Properties?

click on properties, a box should appear with a web address for the image. highlight and copy the web address. Paste this into the image address box as described.

Its interesting the results you get when you search google images for "dlowan" Mostly they are dragon pics. Is that appropriate or what.

Joe, I can't copy the address in properties. When I try to copy from edit above, the thing is frozen.

Highlight it, than press Control and C.......



This saves it.


When you click on the Image box, press Control anf V...this pastes it.

Type out exactly what you are doing. Leave nothing out.

BTW After you highlight the address, right click and a COPY box opens. Just click on Copy.


I am going to clean up the kitchen.
