I see (on Time Warner Cable) that the SY FY Channel
appears to be restoring this cancelled series, beginning at 9 PM tonite.

@OmSigDAVID,
Sometimes they just have extra episodes in the can, already paid for, so a network will unload a show on another network and will just burn them off as filler content. SyFy seems well-suited to that; they always seem to be looking for content.
BTW, good morning.

RP = Region Philbis. He's my husband in real life.
I just finally finished rewatching the last episode of the second and <<sigh>> last season of Dead Like Me. I wish they would revive the series.
I haven't seen any of the post series films... which one do I need to see next? What are there? 2 or 3 films since the cancellation?

I bought the series.
That I am aware of, there was 1 movie made of it since then.
I liked it; it was rewarding in some unfullfilled ways from the series.
