We have an RV and it has a Wingaard antenna. However, since the digital age has struck, this antenna is only marginally performing. (Instead of sucking in weak stations with a bit of snow, the damn thing will pull in a station, then start pixillating and then the TV will
go all bluescreen with "NO SIGNAL" posted in red. Ive been told that there are some gooder Digital antennae out there. ANyone have any xperience with digital antennae???.
I AM NOT GONNA GET A DISH. HAD ONE, didnt like the loss of signal in weird weather times (Think about it, the onlyest times we watch the tv is when the weather is doing something nasty and e cant play in the water or sand).
Spent the past weekend cruising signals at night along the Delaware shore. The signals would last about 10 minutres or so until a T storm was happening between us and the signal source.
@farmerman,
When you find one, let me know.
@farmerman,
I've been looking as well since I might ditch the cable. The most interesting is the GE Futura Digital HDTV Antenna Outdoor at Home Depot. I haven't tried it yet.
@farmerman,
got a consumer rept on the Phillips digital antenna. What makes em work? I hope they arent like the electro zapper machines that quack drs would use on rural patients.
