Hi All,
I am looking to get the following John Lennon quote translated into Latin:
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans"
Thanks in advance,
Airways
@airways,
Vita est quod tibi accidit dum in aliis consiliis occupatus es
Thanks a million for the translatin George.
I was hoping to get a few people to confirm this translation as I intend to get it tattooed.
Thanks in advance for any help guys.
I really appreciate it.
@airways,
Here are two other places to ask for confirmation.

Hi George,
Thanks for your advice. I got the comment below from one of the other forums.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
I think your traslation is correct.To mark the present time (you're ) instead of past (occupatus es) I would translate "occuparis",but it doesn't matter.
Thanks in advance,
Airways

How would you translate something that was said to John....
"You're some asshole with a Kotex stuck to his forehead."?

I think that comment is a good one. I'd go with it.

I'd probably try to avoid translating it.
