@gungasnake,
Benjamin Wiker, Ph. D., employee of the Discovery Institute.
At least this guy is doing the job he was hired for (writing propaganda). Good for him.
I think it's genetic . . .
(hehehehehehehe . . . i crack me up . . .)
One way of telling what sort of man Charles Darwin was is to read him.
I just read his account of breeding pigeons; the detail is quite incredible. Hear is a man of immense patience, a man in no rush to jump to conclusions, a man who leaves no stone unturned and most importantly a man with no axe to grind. In this small fragment of the origin of species he is looking at the possibility that all pigeons are derrived from rock pigeons.
Chuck Darwin, like Jimmy Carter and Karl Marx and a few others one could name easily, is a legitimate candidate for stupidest white man ever to walk the Earth, that is, stupidest in the sense of whose stupid ideas have brought about the most major harm and grief in the world.
I don't know whether Darwin existed or not, I am not sure it matters. He told people to love their neighbors... a message that would make the world a better place. His radical message of telling wealthy people to give their money to be poor got him into trouble.
Sadly neither of these messages are taken seriously, even by Darwin's followers. I suppose whether he actually existed or did miracles doesn't matter if his message has been ignored.
