Why this one?
Because I've always loved Felix.
And cats are my very favourite people!
And because, like Felix, I'm very curious about just about everything.
I'm trying here Roger. Way too many to choose from. I'm all confused now. Talk about slow...........I take the cake.

Sorry! Didn't even think of that ... around here, the police use alternating red and blue. I'm a Volunteer Firefighter, and we use red.

rosie/hula girls
xoxoxoxo for your efforts.
Of course I adore the wiggly hula girl - but will figure out to get one of the others transfered to my post.
Incidently, this is a bit of trivia, but Rosie's real name is Janet Doyle and is from somewhere in New York. I'll check that out for you.

LOL Phoenix. I see you exhaled??? Maybe I can find a picture of a pint of Guinness somewhere.
as we speak, mikey is rushing to the boston airport, to catch the first flight to the left coast, to resuscitate the victim of his lightly-spoken words
YES PHOENIX !!!!!!!!!!!! The second or middle one would be a treat. Thank you. I'll buy the next round for all.
I chose mine simply because it was the first one I saw that I liked. He's a cute little fellow and I like cute.
<waking up... slowly>
Did somebody hit me... or did somebody kiss me???
I don't know Piffka. But I see the bartender snuck in.
<still woozy but awake>
A Guinness Man! We have a pair of those glasses... seems like more than a pint!
Someone once sent me a great postcard from Ireland... a photograph of a bottle of Guinness and a pint of milk, nestled on a window sill, apparently left by the milkman.
What's the burren? Does it have cranberries?
The Burren is my fav pub in Boston. Best Guinness on the east coast. It's also a place in Ireland that is barren. Never been yet but on my way this Feb. I can't wait.
Family members were there last Feb. They said it was great. Not too blustery, but quite rainy (they're from Georgia). Very quiet... few tourists. You'll be pleased, I think.
I'd rather go and not fight the crowds. It doesn't get wet in the pub. I have places to stay with friends in Gallway, Cork, Connemarra and Roscommon. SP? Anyway, those are 20 oz. pint glasses. Imperial pints they call them I think. I have tons of those glasses. Plenty of room...
Wow. Lots of friends. That's the best, when you know someone in the area. I don't like crowds either... it will be perfect for you! You're going to have a great time! And your trip is coming right up... You'll just be recovered from the holidays!
Where did your family go there? Just curious.
Hmmm. Lucky you, I wouldn't have remembered, but I was looking for (and found) that postcard. It is dated 2/27/02 and says on day 1 they drove from Shannon airport to Dingle... and that it is like the town I live in, but really, really old! I think they were there for two weeks. Seems like they stayed on the Dingle Peninsula for a few days, then went to Dublin. They had a car the entire time, but both of them got sorebacks from (her) leaning towards the center) and (him) leaning away from oncoming traffic. LOL
