c.i., how's the gardening going?
Hi Misti, I'm planning on going to Home Depot tomorrow to buy some more flowers to plant in my front and back yards. I think it's going to be in the high sixties tomorrow, so it'll be 'perfect' weather for working in the yard. It's my way of getting some excercise.
c.i.
LOL. I don't think I'll be planting anything for quite some time.
About 18" of rock-hard frost in the ground here, and its been an extraordinarily mild winter so far. Some winters the gravediggers thaw the ground with fire before they can dig ... no such problem this winter. Along about the end of February, however, we'll be starting flats of veggies and flowers in the house. By Mid April, we start setting them outside during the day to "weather harden" a bit, but we take them in at night. Not much actually goes into the ground untill around Memorial Day ... and there is still a chance then for a light frost.

You hadn't added the photo yet when I first read about the hikers and I was in tears laughing when you added the picture. You're such a riot ;-)
gezzy - huh? you ain't not saying if I say I'm a hot bunny you will hold it against me?
as it were....
LOL Deb. Never! I'm not that cold, lol.
Misti, the cat story and picture were hilarious! I'm a cat lover too, so ya'll better watch what ya say about them critters or I'll sic my vicious Alley on ya. (Don't tremble in fear, she would probably just start purring).
Chatoyant, glad you liked it. I thought the picture was adorable ... Roger, where are you, I need your opinion!
EhBeth - nah, no job was waiting for me here, and so far, my best shot is at the Hilton as a glorified something or other, part - time. But, on the other had, the weather is quite nice here, ha ha! My DIL has tomatoes, lemons, oranges, garlic, argula, and basil all producing nicely in the back yard here! Yowza!
