Isn't that Ancient Greek for riffraff?

Personally, I think it was very imprudent of your better half not to go on a weight loss show like "Biggest Loser" and make $$$megabucks$$$. What a shame she's appearing on TV for free!

Plus I have a problem eh, everyone trying to lose weight should have this problem, I've been losing at a clip comparable to someone who's had gastric bypass surgery, and my 46-year-old skin isn't snapping back as quickly/thoroughly as I'd like.

You are not alone. I, er, know of a 40 year old weight loser whose skin is snapping too slowly as well -- and who so far has lost but a tiny fraction of what you did.

Wow, Jes, good work!

I was just thinking I probably need to start peeking in on some dieting threads (summer, after a long winter, blech) and now I find that I know a dieting star!

Congratulations to you.

Sounds like a great opportunity for the A2K community to put on a campaign and nominate Jes and that 40-year old guy to get a makeover done by shows like Extreme Makeover, Oprah, Dr. Phil or any of the other shows that do that sort of thing.

@ossobuco,
Yeah, but you aren't the one who would benefit from it so I'll wait for them to say yay or nay before getting my pompoms and the pep squad busy. Wink

@Butrflynet,
Benefit, there's the question. Maybe monetarily. (Don't mind me, I'm in a contrary phase.)

@Butrflynet,
Thanks for the thought, Butrflynet. I can't speak for Jespah of course, but the 40 dude prefers his makeovers more private. Smile

Let's just say, margo, that he and I are pretty close.

But enough about him. I'm curious to hear how it went for Jespah . (Tap tap tap ...)

@Thomas,
By my reckoning, she still has hours before screen time.. didn't she say 1 a.m.? While I hope she can nap, I somehow doubt that's possible. This is so fun...

I was on tv as a kid, so I have a hazy clue re some of the atmosphere.. but no grasp at all of the dynamics of live.. for an adult.

Well, hey, gurl is a master of raconteuring.
