And I learned that Obama was elected by radical, extremist, socialist dupes of mainstream media and that the Dept of Homeland security has put conservative political people on their hit list for extermination.

Yes, they are going to put them on a vegan diet, dress them in hemp shirts and force them to watch endless loops of Oprah and Jon Stewart until they blow their own brains out using their newly purchased AK47's .

What's that it's AM got to do with it?

@dlowan,
Actually it's not AM to indicate morning, but rather amplitude modulation -as opposed to FM radio or frequency modulation. It's a kind of broadcasting. AM has been pretty much taken over by Conservative talk show hosts in the US.

As pointed out on this thread already, conservative radio can be found on am radio. If one is conservative, it allows one to not feel lonely, if one is living in a blue state/city/town. It can be therapeutic for those that lament the days of Ronald Reagan as a bygone era.

@Green Witch,
Yep..I assumed AM as amplitude modulation...I didn't know it had been taken over by the right, though...thank you.

My beloved ABC Radio National broadcasts on AM, so I have no bad vibes about it.

@dyslexia,
In the words of..........................(damn, I can't remember who said this),

"Just because you're paranoid, does not mean that they are NOT out to get you!"

(Maybe I will have that inscribed on my tombstone)
Shocked

@Phoenix32890,
about twenty five years ago i bought a book, called "THEY", for a friend of mine

he was a great believer in conspiracies, the write up on the back of the book was something like, "they want you to buy this book, they don't ask for much. just buy the book, and then they'll be happy"

the book was made up of single cartoons much like the far side

the only two i can remember are, "they say we're not wearing enough hats this year" and "they say they have a compound somewhere in iowa"
