Is this possible? Can you get a good work out while asleep? Could a dream cause you to get a workout?
The reason I'm asking is I woke up this morning and my calves hurt - as if I had worked out the day before. Did I benefit from a dream workout?
@roger,
Then why they heck did my calves ache this morning?
@Ticomaya,
You could be right - I wouldn't put it past the old dog.
@Linkat,
I wouln't rely on burning calories in my sleep. Maybe you're having a nightmare or somthing, lol
@carrie94086,
I was wondering that - I figured I might have been "running" or "jumping" or something. Sometimes I have very adventerous dreams - where I am running/jumping and fighting against the bad guys.
@Linkat,
Electra...cool....
I want to be Laura Croft - Tomb Raider when I grow up.
@Linkat,
You probally didn't drink enough water that day, or previous days, and had a muscle spasm in your sleep.
@alex240101,
That's what I was thinking.
Eat a banana.
@chai2,
If I have a muscle spasm, I don't sleep - that's some impressive sleep.
I know when I had nightmares and would cry in my dream - I would have a sore throat the next morning...prolly just flexing those muscles while you are dreaming.
@chai2,
I hate bananas!
Could be - I thought maybe I was saving the world. I've always wanted to be a superhero. I tell my kids that I don't go to work, I am actually a superhero - but alas they don't believe me.
Who hates bananas?
I never heard of such a thing.
@chai2,
I am odd - I hate apple pie too!
