I watched this show every week. Loved it. Meredith Baxter Birney was considered one of the most beautiful young actresses on television at the time. Sada Thompson and James Broderick (Matthew's daddy) were superb. Very melodramatic. Even Kristy McNichols as" and I'm going by memory here"'Leticia "Buddy" Lawrence, had many a strong, dramatic moment. It was a good show.
