Erm, I'm at a loss. Is that an egg, moulded and fried in the shape of John Wayne or something?

A western is a kind of omelette.
It's typically filled with diced ham, onions, and green peppers.
it's autumn, so the beer stein is back
~~~
black forest ham on a crusty crusty toasted kaiser
a chunk of emmenthal
a beer stein full of organic Earl Grey tea, with one sugar cube and a bitta milk
One egg, over easy, on whole wheat toast and col-jack cheese. Tomato juice and coffee.
a beef and bean burrito smothered with chili verde
saturday breakfast is always EXTRA special - on other days is just SPECIAL :wink:
the usual yoghurt , cereal and fruit followed by fried egg with a bit of double-smoked bacon , apricot jam , emmental and gouda cheese , crusty wholewheat bun - TEA !!!
I had chicken noodle soup with a bunch of throw in stuff to help fight off any colds or flus that are going around. Don't know if it works, but it's fun making these concoctions anyways.
Now I'm hungry again.
Brunch at Krokodil in Rottenburg. I cannot remember everything I had - scrambled egg, meatball, cheese, tomato and mozzarella, fruit salad, coffee, water, a slice of melon.... It was good!
Omelet with onion, ham and red pepper. Whole grain toast with "Golden Love Apple Jelly" (made from yellow heirloom tomatoes
). And coffee. Lots of coffee.
And they've got billard there, and darts, and pin-ball maschines, video games ...
(Not that I've been there - but heard a lot about that place: brunching like God in France :wink: )
Hi Walter! Yes, they have all that - but we just cared about the food!
It's amazing how much some people can eat if it's all-you-can-eat..
It's a good price and the food is really good. And now since smoking is no longer allowed in restaurants it is even nice to sit and chat. It used to be awful once everyone had their first round of food and fired up.
peanut butter muffins + burritos
I know I had tea, and something.
it being sunday , our b'fast was a little simpler than saturday's .
started with the usual bowl of cereal , yoghurt , fresh fruits , flaxseed and pecans , boiled egg , gouda and swiss cheese , apricot jam , crusty "montreal" sesame bagel with sweet butter and TEA !!!
had lunch in the meantime and after doing more cleaning up in the garden , i'm almost ready for " tea for two" at five . :wink:
hbg
hamburger, your breakfasts are amazing!
My compliments, sir.
a piece of french toast made with raisin cinnamon swirl bread from the building's breakfast buffet place (with syrup - $1.27) - about 5 cups of English Breakfast tea
grilled ham and swiss with mustard and ketchup
a beer stein of organic earl grey tea
~~~
all it took was to miss one antibiotic to get my appetite back
vegimite on toast, 2 slices.
coffee (instant).
honey on toast 2 slices.
2 eggs
a hand full of spinach
and some veggie sausage all scrambled together
