Congrats to America and the rest of the world. Welcome Obama, finally!

What exactly does the "rest of the world" need to be congratulated about? What does "FINALLY" mean?

Didn't you know that some bad things that some countries do have a negative impact on other countries. The economy, for example.

Oh, and "finally" means: coming at the end : being the last in a series, process, or progress <the final chapter>

Ignorance really is bliss!!! Whatever financial crisis the US has as well as other Nations is NOT a direct result of "something America did".

You might add that some Nations, if they had better control of their borders, might make life just a tad easier here in America.

You might also add that America does some good things that helps other nations, like keep them safe.

I'll give you that! For certain America does plenty of good things...and I think the people of America are as decent, caring, and loving as the people of any other nation. And I do think the presence of America in the world has been a force in keeping the lid on things that might otherwise boil over.

I will agree on that as well. America has done a lot of good things and is full of decent, caring, and loving people and I'm hoping the new administration will excel in showing the rest of the world just how wonderful a country America really is.

Well, even though some Americans intend to minimize this event, it's a landmark in the way of tolerance and acceptance of the differences.

I, personally, am proud that American people achieved such meaningful leap.

I'm happy for the American people, should they, as expected, stop to suffer from this administration's evil-doers.

I'd be glad if Americans stop dying in the far sands of Iraq.

I'd be glad too that the new administration bring back to your country the admiration and respect that many of its citizens deserve.

Around here, people expect to watch the inauguration and, according to the local news, 90% of them favor Obama, even in extreme right circles.

Exactly. It really astounds me when I get the impression that some people WANT Obama to fail. Hey kids, we are all in this together. The United States goes into the crapper, and we are ALL in deep ****, whether we are Americans or not!
