What's the strangest thing you've bought on Amazon?

I love amazon, too, but mostly I buy books there.
However, last year I bought my christmas lights and a pair of Heely's there.
That's probably not too strange...

I bought a model of the Ghostbuster's car just a few weeks ago.

My first online purchase was a flatscreen HDTV, from Amazon.com. Free delivery, free wall mounting kit. Amazon beat everyones price. By much.
....and they used a reputable contractor for delivery.

Uranium.

Totally.

I like the one guy who said it didn't get rid of his ant problem, it only made them bigger.

Someone used it as toothpaste and said "my teeth have never been so CLEAN! They Tingle!"

Well a cattle prod of course - it helps with the subway sleepers - you know those people who fall asleep in the subway and slowly start to lean on you - I mentioned this quite awhile ago here at A2k about this problem I was having. People that feel asleep and ended up leaning on me.

Some helpful person here - I think it may have been Gus suggested I buy a cattle prod such as this

With shipping it was 12.00 and some change.

it is very thin and needs a liner with it.

My bathroom is chocolate brown with super bleach white tub/sink.

Oh man what DON'T I buy on Amazon. Typical orders are potpourri, sweatpants, oatmeal and dental floss.

When I went to get my Christmas present ring sized, I saw this really pretty sterling silver bracelet at the jewelry store. It was $129. I was sorely tempted just to buy it right then.

I went onto Amazon and saw the EXACT same bracelet priced for $74 and on sale for $46.

They had a deal going on if you bought $100 from that merchant they took $20 or $25 off the total, plus free shipping. So I also got a 20 inch silver chain normally $95 on sale for $60.

So considering the chain and bracelet would have been comparatively priced in a retail jewelry store, I got about $260 worth of jewlry for about $85

I'd decided to upgrade my wardrobe a little at a time this year, so these were things I would have been looking for.

When I went to Universal Studios quite a long time ago - they had Bates Motel towels and little bars of soap. I bought them for this same friend.

I had picked up the toy at ToysRUs and ran across it on Amazon for $25 more.

The photos I posted look a little different but the one I bought is exactly like the one posted in the Amazon photo.

I no longer check Amazon first!
