Bette Midler - Outrageous Fortune (Hamlet)

Keanu Reeves - Much Ado About Nothing

Dorothy Dalton - Fool's Paradise (Romeo and Juliet)

Gloria Grey - Bag and Baggage (As You Like It)

Lon Chaney - Flesh & Blood (Hamlet)

Lupino Lane has me stumped (Roaming Romeo??)

I got Lupino Lane: Salad Days

"My salad days
When I was green in judgment."
(Antony and Cleopatra)

And Keanu also has Providence.

"There's a special providence in the fall of a sparrow."
(Hamlet)

Loved it! They only made very minor changes from the stage version. (Once again, I know the stage version inside out and only know the film version slightly.) I still know most of the lines and lyrics - worked on it three times...

What did you think? I know Matthew's no Robert Preston, but I thought he did a good job.

I enjoyed the show very much. Robert Preston is a tough act to follow. I thought Broderick had a very pleasant voice and carried it off well. Instead of trying to follow in Preston's footsteps he gave Harold Hill a Pied Piper personality which worked out perfectly. And I also enjoyed Kristin Chenoweth. (I had seen her on a special once, can't remember which one, and was impressed with her voice - maybe, she was on the Tony's, I can't remember.) The choreography was great.

Yes, I agree, the choreography was especially well-done.

I seem to recall that Kristen Chenoweth performed with the company of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown on the Tonys in '99 or '00. She was extremely good, and then won a Tony moments later. So I learned her name!
