Welcome Fealola. We'd love to have you play. This game has undergone quite a few changes since it first started in November.
The object of this game is to guess the movie star who matches the occupations/roles listed. The tie-ins and years make the game easier to play. The tie-in is that the answer (movie star) to my question above has appeared in a film/s with Eve Arden at some time. (but not necessarily in one of the films mentioned in the Eve Arden question). If you guess correctly, it will be your turn to ask a question. Have I confused you? Believe me, once you start playing it will all fall into place. Very Happy Come join the fun.

(There is no set rule for the number of occupations/roles you ask.)

Yes to Eve Arden, Raggedy.

Thanks for explaining the game! I was working on it and happened to refresh and see that you'd beat me to it. Very Happy It's harder to explain that it is to play!

Laughing Laughing You can say that again, Mac. And I just noticed that I was referring to a question I haven't even asked yet. Embarrassed Maybe this will help:

Identify the movie star who played the following parts in a movie. This movie star has appeared in a movie with Eve Arden. The movies in which he played these parts were between the years of 1946 and 1954. So:

Tie-in Eve Arden (1946-1954)

Yes to Kirk Douglas and The Brotherhood, too, Mac.

Fealola - I think it might spoil the challenge if we just guessed and didn't list the movies. But, let me think about this. (I have thought about it in the past)
Idea Perhaps, one could guess, but if the guess is incorrect, that person would not be allowed to offer any more guesses.
What do you think, Mac?

That would work.

But when no one else is around, additional guesses ought to be allowed somehow... hmmm.... Your call, Miss Raggedy. Very Happy

hmmmm. What I meant was that a guess (without listing the movies) would be OK, but if that guess was incorrect, then the person would have to do a little research. Laughing OK, two guesses.

Guess: Anthony Quinn - Greek peasant, Zorba the Greek, Hispanic Grandfather - A Walk in the Clouds - Easy, too, because we have a tie-in.
But, that sort of takes the challenge out of it, doesn't it? Without listing the others. THINKING.
