Yes to Julie Walters.
I did see Prick Up Your Ears when it came out in 1987. (We were working on a Joe Orton play at the time, so everyone was eager to see the film.) It was quite good - it was the first film of Gary Oldman's that I'd seen, and he was very impressive. Alfred Molina plays a very unlikeable man very well, and I've followed his career with interest ever since.
