Couzz,

If you have the answer please let us know so that you can then take your turn.

It is a male actor I had in mind, that all five actors I mentioned have something in common with.

Please enlighten us with your answer.

Here's a guess on yesterday's question.

Films set (or partially set) in Florida - I decided you were trying to give me a clue with your comment: "I think you'll like it when you get there." Shocked

Robert Duvall - Wrestling Ernest Hemingway
Harrison Ford - Random Hearts
Harry Dean Stanton - 92 in the Shade
Al Pacino - Any Given Sunday
Meryl Streep - Adaptation

couzz - John Wayne?

Macsm11-sorry if I threw a spanner in the works with that comment.

Also I assumed rightly or wrongly that Couzz's comment was an answer to my question-so I am a little confused.

Your guess is not that one I had in mind, it is actually an actor that all the other 5 have starred in pictures with and there is something else significant as well, which makes it a bit more interesting in my opinion.

I'm a veteran now - yippeee

No apology necessary, hiama - I have considered various co-stars and directors. I'll go back to that...

Congratulations on being a Veteran Member! Very Happy

I thought that couzz was asking a new question, but I could be mistaken.

Macsm11,

Ok good start,

Go with The Conversation, Harrison Ford is your link there
Robert Duvall is the link for Godfather 1, Harry Dean Stanton for Godfather II, you'll have to get your own links for Al and Meryl.

I feel you're zooming in on it.

Wow, I didn't know about about John Cazale's early death. He had quite an excellent run of films there, didn't he?

Sorry to be so obscure, mac. The common thread has to do with characters all the actresses have played. If you've been paying close attention to my social schedule (how's that for egomania?), it might help to know that there's a connection to something I saw last night.
