Presumably, each ignored party woud see a
tiny "user ignored" notation for each post that is ignored.

I sometimes peek at my Ignores if I think I might have to answer a direct question or attack. But mostly I just enjoy the peace and quiet without any knowledge if the ignore is mutual.

What I really want to know is if a tree falls in a forest...

I was mostly thinking about Ceej. Hes apparently putting everyone on ignore and then just posting crap. If you ignore him do all his posts just disappear or must I give em a thumb?

Ive only ignored one person cause hes from a Dobson reality. Ceej is just a good laugh .

OK, if u really wanna know:
if the forest animals (or anyone else) hears it fall then it makes a sound.
If no one at all hears it,
then the air will vibrate the same,
but the last component of sound (i.e., being heard) is absent
and therefore it makes no sound
because sound is the mental perception of the vibration of the air (or other medium).

I don't use the ignore feature.

It's a poor attempt at self policing threads.

Also, what if you came here and really needed help, and the only person who responded with kindness, you were ignoring?

The person Ive put on ignore really needed it.
He has a looong history of irrelevant posting and is just interested in puffing himself up , while at the same time, he accuses all others of the same.

I enjoy your stuff when you talk hunting, its just that your obsession with guns is almost clinical.
