Why does nobody shake hands with Bush?

This turned out to be a gotcha, you know. He'd already marched through the reception line and shook hands before. I think someone was late so they had a do-over.

But, if that's the case, everybody else was doing it again. Everybody else pretended they had just seen each other for the first time since last year.

Why not Bush when he could clearly see that everyone else was shaking hands again?

That's what doesn't make sense to me. If he were the first in line and couldn't see others shaking hands, I would get it, but not the way it played out.

Maybe he just didn't want to play. He's on his way out. Why the **** does HE care?
