Do you think Obama will be the last black President?

From the amount of cleaning up Obama has to do from the mess Bush administration has left, it is very unlikely he'll succeed even 10% of what he has promised. This will no doubt make him Americas worst Black President and therefore the last, because no one will trust a black man again...

Am I right?

@Woiyo9,
Black mixed with white = black (try mixing paint)

@Zippo,
Whatever. It seems you have an issue with skin color. Why is that?

Do you think we'll ever elect a white republican again? I mean, Bush really fucked things up, now didn't he?

@Woiyo9,
What about Bush's skin colour. Remember I also think he is a clown and didnt like him as President.

Maybe the question should be "Will we ever get to the point where colour doesn't matter at all?"

@Wilso,
For many, they truly got there this time around. That's the only way Obama was elected.

And just who is that adorable baby Wilso?

@Wilso,
Hi, Wilso. I heard a commentary in which the speaker said that, indeed, Obama will be the last black president ever. Gasp. But then he went on to say that JFK was the last Catholic President. Does anyone know or care how many Presidential candidates have been Catholic? We have gone beyond that. It is no longer an issue that bothers the vast majority of the public.
And so it will be with race. There will be some who will have a problem; but they will fade away.
Cute kid in your avatar.

Nope.

Obama's historic election opens the door to all possible shades derived when
combining varying amounts of basic White with varying amounts of basic Black.
We just witnessed a historic moment in time and it may be some time our country elects another pale face.

He isnt the first black President, at least not yet.

Point taken.

Also, didn't Clinton openly claim he was the America's 1st black president?

@H2O MAN,
On another point, H20 MAN, how do you explain NC going Dem for President and defeating E Dole?

@realjohnboy,

A large number of people that once lived in Blue north eastern sates with a higher COL relocated to NC over the past few years.

@H2O MAN,
Thank you for a realistic explanation of NC and VA turning blue. The cheap shot would have been that Obama took the black vote by 110%. The growth in NC and VA (and SC and GA) is such that the New South will be trending blue. New jobs and new retirees.

@realjohnboy,
rjb, during my time in the new south, I saw a large emphasis on bringing in technology, both through "corridors" and tax breaks.

Surely that should slowly help the group IQ...

@Rockhead,
True, RH. Without going into a lot of detail, The New South doesn't allow for a lot of entrenched leadership. In VA, a Gov can serve only one term. That is it. Very little if any inbreeding. We saw that a reliance on tobacco, textiles and furniture manufature was not going to work. Dem & Repub Gov's and our part-time legislature set up the tech schools and community college system that are supplying prospective employers with workers.
We still have a lot of problems ahead of us in this difficult economy. People are still falling through the cracks. But some very wise people made some very wise decisions a generation ago.

Don't know about black, but he was an idiot, and more importantly, a liar.
