MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (KGO) -- In the home stretch of the presidential campaign, San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi has become a key piece of the Republican campaign strategy.
Barack Obama continues to lead John McCain by seven points in Monday's ABC News tracking poll; so the G.O.P. is now warning what could happen if the Democrats are in charge of both the White House and Congress.
In Mountain View, Pelosi made an appearance at Google. Pelosi came to Google to talk about the innovation agenda that the Democrats are promoting. It includes education and rebuilding the nation's infrastructure with green technology. However, a lot of the questions were about the presidential race, about the balance of power in Washington, and John McCain's statements from Monday morning.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says after the election she would like to see Congress back in session to pass a second stimulus package:
"Grow the economy, create good paying jobs, in the future in a way that is a green recovery, geared toward Main Street and is fiscally sound," said Pelosi.
And on concerns that Democrats might control both the White House and Congress she said the following:
"Elect us, hold us accountable, and make a judgment and then go from there. But I do tell you that if the Democrats win, and have substantial majorities, Congress of the United States will be more bipartisan," said Pelosi.
No. I did not make that up. This ding-bat actually said "and have substantial majorities, Congress of the United States will be more bipartisan".
She really need a check up from the neck up.
