there is a political race going on here in New Mexico that has me deciding my vote totally without regard to issues or political philosophy or party affiliation. Lets call the candidates A and B. I known nothing about either one other than the adds running on the telly. Candidate A has run nothing but very sleazy attack ads, such lines as "Candidate B is alleged to have commited crimes" "many people don't like candidate B" "candidate B may be dishonest".
I will vote for candidate B mainly because candidate A has never offered one single reason why I should vote for him.

@dyslexia,
I already voted by absentee ballot for candidate B.

Candidate A is a multi-millionaire libertarian type oilman: "I've got mine; the hell with you!" He washes Saint Bush's feet once a week.

@dyslexia,
When candidates put attack ads on TV it diminishes their credibility.

I was living in New York for the summer when Hillary C. first ran for senator. The jamoke who ran against her was such a weakling, all he could do was attack her. He lost mightily.

I also recall a governor's race in my homestate where the Democrat female candidate had a sizeable lead, until she put out the dumbest attack ad linking her opponent to murder because he'd sponsored some business in a 3rd world country where some really bad violence took place. She blew it. The opponent won.

@dyslexia,
I goofed.

Former sheriff Darren White washes Saint Bush's feet every day.

@cjhsa,
I'm debating this question this time around. Then again, I probably think about not voting every election but always end up voting.

what's that saying? "don't vote, don't bitch"? Laughing sometimes that's the only thing keeping me from saying the hell with it.
