Need translation for a verse in latin.

I have been trying to find out how to get this verse in Latin and all the translation places on the web do not tell me what the translation is.

It Is...

"I am forgiven because you were forsaken"

Dimissus sum quia derelictus eras.
This assumes that the one forgiven and the one forsaken are both masculine.
The feminine forms are:
dimissus -> dimissa
derelictus -> derelicta
