Barack Obama (the reason why the economy is tanking)

As Barack's numbers go up, the stock market goes down. People are scared to invest in an economy with a presidential candidate that has spent most of his life trying to force socialism on the masses.

Stunning analysis, brilliant even, I suppose the DJIA will be at 0 on the day Obama takes the oath of office as president of the USA.

@RexRed,
So let me understand this: Obama caused the current credit/financial institution crises, the foreclosure mortgage probelms as well as the historic lopsided trade deficit and the massive gov't debt problem over the last 8 years?

The asylum called and your bed hasn't been slept in and they're wondering where you are?

McCain and Palin have both lived their lives dedicated to the American dream... They have a record of reducing taxes and spending.

One must question Barack beyond his words.

Barack Obama sat on a board with Bill Ayers for 6 years, gave out 50 million dollars to school programs to teach "social activism" instead of reading, writing and arithmetic.

It is important that he was a member of Jeremiah Wright's church, because one of the tenants of the church if you go to the church's website, number 8 is that they “renounce middle classiveness.”

And people are wondering why the economy is tanking?

Barack has a radical left past, investors do not trust him with their money...

Let Barack Oinkbama actually WIN this election, and it'll be nightmare on Elm Street. Everybody with any assets worth talking about at all will be scrambling to get them offshore in as big a hurry as possible.

@gungasnake,
It's nightmare on main street today; talking about future nightmares shows how out of touch you really are. How does it feel to live in la-la land? LOL

@cicerone imposter,
Rex and gunga, John McCain claims he said that Mae and Mac were in trouble back in 2004, but in most recent times, including last month, McCain told Americans that our "economy is fundamentally strong."

Which McCain are we supposed to believe?

Please clarify this for us, will ya? Please!

Granted having a rogue political party rape and pillage the entire financial system of the nation is a problem, but things can always get worse and they will if Oinkbama is elected president. There won't be enough venture capital left in the land to start a lemonade stand with.

I don't know of any definition of patriotism which includes leaving assets sitting around for the likes of Barry Oinkbama to confiscate and redistribute to his followers.

I am confused. You guys don't usually give Obama credit for anything. We may be witnessing the start of a whole new trend in reactionary blame-placing here.

I thought for sure you were going to find a way to blame Bill Clinton.

@gungasnake,
As president, Barak Obama won't want any of your money, save for what you'll legally owe in taxes and that won't be paid to him, I can assure you.

Just let me know the amounts and where you're sending it and I'm sure I can arrange a nice warm cell for you.

Gee, Rex, great analysis, really superb diagnosis of cause and effect. As Obama's support rises, America's temperature goes down. Does that mean Barack causes winter?

I like the idea of a rational divorce better than the idea of another civil war. What I would want, basically, if I were negotiating for my side of it would be roughly:

  • The basic divide is on a county basis and not a state basis. I.e. my side keeps most of the land area, you keep most of the large cities and anything else you need to fly over to get to and infrastructure which basically pertains to your large cities.
  • You keep your own imported and wholly-owned voting blocks.
  • You get land corridors connecting the various pieces of your country.
  • We get Washington State and possibly part of Oregon, i.e. sufficient access to water and ports on the left coast.

At least, off the top of my head, that would do for starters. I mean, this is probably gonna happen. No marriage as bad as our present political scene would last ten seconds and you know it. Be thinking about what YOU would want when the day comes.

@MontereyJack,
Think about it. A presidential election should not have to be about which half of the country gets to walk around in abject misery for the next four years, should it?
