@Foxfyre,
Foxfyre - the emaciated / anorexic models have vanished from the runways this season; see sample above. I'm real glad about it, too, because not one of them was under 6 feet or over 100 pounds, and they just plain made me feel like a balloon - wonder what size they all wore, minus 20?!

@JTT,
Oh, hey, JTT, I've always had a question about cross-dressers: I understand most women's clothes exist in plus sizes, but what about the latest fashions in high-heeled shoes - in size 13 who on earth makes them?!

@High Seas,
Who makes them? Shoemakers who specialize in shoes for crossdressers. Ever see an ad offering women's shoes size 13 and up? Who do you think their catering to? Very Happy

ps-I can't stand the pricey new heel styles they're showing this fall, like the ones pictured above. While I can appreciate the innovativeness, most of them are just butt-ugly. Has anyone tried on a pair yet? I'm going to hit Neiman Marcus one day and try some on just to see how easy they are to walk in. I'm very curious about that.

@shewolfnm,
Hint: get an industrial strength bra. Or wear a muumuu.

I'm still thinking of visiting you, She. Maybe March, if I'm not working. Tell me if that's a good time for you.

Can't wait to get out of here. I'm tired of coming up with meal ideas. And I miss my sushi, so ten more days... yay

@eoe,
Eoe - yes, I tried one pair, but not the red model in the previous picture. It was OK in the shoe salon (soft rug, the salesman anxiously watching my teetering progress, ready to grab me if I tripped) but I wouldn't venture in them in our potholed streets! Look at this slide show - including pictures of models falling down on the runways - from today's Wall Street Journal:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122394215518830965.html?mod=googlenews_wsj#project%3D%26s%3D%26articleTabs%3Darticle

One positive thing is that if you have to concentrate on walking in these, you can't worry about the world financial meltdown at the same time - there's probably some deep psychological truth in those designs!
