@FreeDuck,
I do have my poetic ways; I'm not without ability re analysis if pushed with a deadline but analysis and reportage is not my drive. I can appreciate analysis when I see it though... getting into serious admiration.

JPB, sharp re statistics.

@ossobuco,
Well, if you all do this, I'm all for it. Perhaps a small group, or less small. None of my business..
I'll follow it however it could work out.

@nimh,
I seldom type my views with my broken English.
But i always give my views thro better qualified source .
Of course i am not muddle headed or cold-minded human.
I spent my whole energy and time to learn decency( which is the only product i miss in my life)

Engineer and FreeDuck are on board -- fantastic! That's the original four (nimh engineer FreeDuck me) we brought up, maybe can start there and then add. (I agree that many of the names mentioned would be awesome.)

Robert says he's ready to go ahead. (Thanks Robert!)

He asked me for a domain name.

Um. I'm not coming up with anything.

Any bright ideas?

@sozobe,
"Level-headed, cool-minded political blog" is a bit wordy. Very Happy

Lehecomi? (First two letters of the first four words.)

Comi?

According to Latin translation, (automatic, not George) that's Latin for "courteous, kind, friendly, obliging."

That could work....

@sozobe,
How about "The Concourse"

Concourse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A concourse is a place where pathways or roads meet, such as in a hotel, a convention center, a railway station, an airport terminal, a hall, or other space.

Literally, a "concourse" means a place where people come together. The word derives from English, French, and Latin, "concursus" and "concurrere," meaning "to run together." It is related etymologically to the word "concur."

@engineer,
I love it!

Both "concourse" and "theconcourse" are taken though.

"politicalconcourse" is available but has a somewhat unfortunate acronym...

@sozobe,
Well, if Engineer, FreeDuck and Soz are in, I'm committed too. I'd never be able to maintain my own blog, but 1/4 of a blog I can do.

Names, yikes. Not feeling particularly creative (Lord I'm stressed right now.) I like the Concourse. Not "American Concourse" though, because if the others would be OK with it much of my posting would be about non-US stuff.

Joe's suggestion is great Laughing

Hey Joe - what about you? And blogging? Wink
