I found this and thought it was interesting...

http://www2.tbo.com/content/2008/sep/19/where-presidential-candidates-stand/news-politics/

It gives a side by side comparison of where both candidates stand on 22 different issues.
Of course, these positions are subject to change, depending on what the candidate thinks he needs to say to get votes.

@mysteryman,
This is great, mysterman. A very good summarization of the issues and the platforms of both candidates. I just skimmed over it for now, but will definately be back to read it more thoroughly.

@mysteryman,
Though i am dead against your political views i admire your moral, ethical, decent courage.
Republicans had openly declared that there are no issues in this election.
Now sir you put 22 issues for discussion.
Bothe the parties are immersed/submerged in the muddy water of corporate election that War is inevitable.
One guy said may be 100 years in Iraq.
And his opponent say we should make the life of the people wretched both in Afganisthan and pakisthan( Both countries are the most pathetic subservient servants of USA)
I have some American sources to expose this unbearable politics that prevail in USA.
Once again I draw your kind attention that I respect your civil behaviour.

@mysteryman,
as a decent gentle person ,
you should/ought to admit that the title of this thread is not according your political views.
I know issues are not involved nor the rapes lootss destructions in search of WMD.
I had been there and yoou as well..
sipping the innocent ill-informed patriotic sons of God is a bad subject( I mean we won't count the death).

That should be the main issue.
Ask Ron paul who is not a coomunist or the lady against Perlo---
Among the two candidates none is quilified to continue this hypocratical behaviour.
hypocracy should end with papa and son.
let me repent the episode.
ISSUES are not there.
