Two large-scale earthquakes hit near HokKaido and in NE Indonesia at ooo2 GMT (is that around 8pm, EST?). No casualties were reported, but there is worry of a tsunami.

BBC just updated. The tsunami warning in Indonesia was called off. In Japan, the warning is for a maximum tsunami of 20 inches (!). Can you actually have a tsunami that is 20 inches? Doesn't the definition of tsunami include a rather tall wave?

I guess there's nothing to see here folks..... move along.
