It is personal attacks that hurt people. Vulgarity doesn't hurt anyone. I teach my kids to worry about the meaning behind the language, rather than the language itself. Calling someone "stupid" can be far more damaging, then saying "****" into the air in frustration.
When Brady said "****" he wasn't attacking anyone or putting anyone down.
He used this word to express extreme emotion, namely frustration with imperfection and hatred of losing. In context, Brady's use of the word "****" was completely appropriate, there was no better way to express his emotion at the time.
These emotions are what make Tom Brady one of the best quarterback ever to play the game. You can't take them away without losing something.
They are an important part of the story. I don't see any reason to take offense at this.
