That's not change...that's more of the same!

And so the idots try to chant their words in unison -- but fail.

Biden - 65 years old.

Does he really lust for the position of VP?

Let's say Obama wins in 2008 and runs in 2012.

Biden will be 73 years old when he takes on the mantle.

Clearly, he didn't come even close to a dig against McCain's age...of course not.

OH MY GOD ....BARACK IS ON THE STAGE!!!!

I think I might pee myself!

Now Michelle smiles.

OH GOD WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THIS GUY!

Barrack Obama, Superstar!

We are moving to Mile High Stadium because....ordinary people do extraordinary things!

Yeah right.

We're constructing a replica of the Parthenon becuase we believe ordinary people love Greek architecture!

"We are family!"

Is that the Biden or Obama anthem?

Are you going to vote for Obama because Joe Biden's grandaughter is adorable?

Biden's speech was not exceptional rhetoric.

The crowd couldn't even match the cadance.

Is it really rational to compare McCain and Obama in terms of actions?

At least Obama didn't appear to announce "Barrack Obama. reporting for duty!"

Why do these News Sources bother to interview the extreme partisan supporters of the candidates?

They all, Democratic and Republican, will lie through their teeth to spin the issue as favorably as they can for their guy.

How idiotic is the spin effort to dismiss the terrorist Bill Ayres' connection with Obama. "He must be OK because some ultra-liberal group voted him onto their board just recently."

You live your life, engaged in local social programs, and suddenly you find yourself on the same side of an issue with someone who is an unrepentant terrorist, someone who av0ided murder simply by luck, and imprisonment by a legal technicality, and who has never expressed regret for his past sins.

Sure you will say "Yeah but what does he think about the zoning laws for factories in our community."

If you’re OK with such an association, you share the guilt that Ayres denies.

Damnit, Finn, where were you last night? I came here looking for your take on Obama's speech.

@FreeDuck,
Sorry FreeDuck, but I actually had a business dinner that prevented me from watching the speech.

I was not happy, but I am a capitalist that is always trying to line my obscenely rich pockets.

Worse yet the people I dined with were not the least interested in politics!

I've seen bits and pieces of it since then, but that's not the same as watching the whole thing.

From what I have heard though, there was no memorable lines that people will be quoting 10 years from now.

It had to be a good speech since he is incapable of giving a bad one.

Great?

No reason to believe so, while freely acknowledging I didn't see it all.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Sounds like you had a rough night. Will you now blog the Republican convention?

@FreeDuck,
I would have but the demands of securing obscene profit prevented me from doing so.

I'm coming in on the tail end though.
