Figure if I'm making places for complaints there should be a bit of parity...
Love the lime green.
Ignore is super-cool.
Speedy!!
@sozobe,
I like that it saves your posts when you submit them wile being logged out. If I had a penny for every minute this feature would have saved me on the old site ...
@sozobe,
I love it that the hamsters actually get their photos on the site!
And Nick has made them speak more politely and succinctly.
@sozobe,
I like that we still have all the nifty old tools for writing a post, such as
Bold
Italics
underlining
Quote:Quote: Hold your dominion.
[code]Code display[code]
Hmm, there seems to be a
with the editing buttons. I'll report on it in detail
hereover in the Bug thread.
The bug is getting more aggressive so can't continue testing the coolness of the old editing buttons on the new site. Heading over to report on it.
I like the sort by "My Tags".
i like the look and layout
the scroll within posts will help to get through the cut and paste nightmares
@sozobe,
love love love the tags
love that quoting is more difficult - I hate those nested quote posts with a passion
what soz calls lime green is a different green for me - I suspect it has to do with some kind of setting on my monitor - in any case, I like the bright pea green
=; D
@dadpad,
I hate those ******* quotes.
(let's see if this makes it through with its gonads intact)
@dadpad,
you hafta do it manually --
Code:[quote="dadpad"]how do I quote ehbeth[/quote]
@Region Philbis,
I think it's time for me to go search out little cj ...
or mebbe not just yet
Nice going to a profile and finding both posts and topics started.
Oh yeah, Edit time is way down.
And furthermore, I see that the old "Quick Reply" function has been essentially restored. It's basically the default, with BBCode being the option.
Also, it's nice to be able to log out, return, and still have all the discussions available without having to go to "At a Glance". I'm keeping my time span set to One Week, but there's other options.
@sozobe,
I like the scroll bar within a post a lot. Love the speed, hope that lasts. I've getting used to the format, still having fun.
Ah yes, having a horizontal scrollbar appear if a post is too wide rather than having the whole page stretched? Neat-o!
I also like how the BBCode Editor works now! I can just highlight something, then click on the BBCode Tag and its bold. Or italic.
Groovy. Also way faster!
<likes it>
