Under the other socialist presidents- Clinton for example- we had a budget surplus and a roaring economy.

The economy Billy inherited was in pretty good shape.

It wasn't until he was forced to sign a balanced budget by a Republican congress that we had budget surpluses.

Bill's chief contribution to the economy was to sue Microsoft and take the tech-heavy NASDAQ from 5000 to 2500 in one year.
