I see more and more black people coming out against Obama.

Question Why is this happening?

one would think that SOME black people are against Obama... or others might be led to believe that he was supported simply because he's black... and that would not be very progressive or change like....others would say that's damned white of them.... and isn't that sort of behavior and attitude the kind that's holding this country back?

Or is it possible that no one is truly concerned with a "rainbow coalition" and that's there's only 2 groups.... those at the top of the pyramid and those desiring to usurp their position?

And who else but you would be the authority on what makes an "authentic" African American?

Please enlighten us all by telling us what makes one an "authentic" African American?

You're talking to McGentrix, right genius? Clearly, as A2K's Attache to Minority Culture (AMC), McG is in a positon to make a statment about where Obama lies on the Unc Tom-Ghetto Spectrum. Such was my point.

In fact, the only subject that eludes our esteemed AMC is microbiology. Now, in making this observation, do I declare myself an expert? No, sir.

What other obvious **** can I make clear to you?

I wasn't aware of my title, was there a ceremony?

You're talking to McGentrix,

Nope. It is you that made the statement I quoted, not McGentrix.

An authentic African American and, coincidentally, a Guy Who Shares a Bunk Bed with His Mom, can elaborate on the advantages of an ECO water softener over a Rainsoft system.

As expected, you can't back up your statement with any substance.
You don't have the juice!

Honestly? I don't think there are very many high profile blacks that are lining up against Obama. I think though Jessie let his jealousy show and may be doing it in spite of himself, he has been publicly in support of Obama.

Some high-powered names like Charlie Rangel and Andrew Young were in support of Hillary, but I think they have swung their support to Obama.

There is certainly no monolithic "black opinion", but I think black people are as unified behind this candidate as they have been for any cause that I have seen in the last 25 years.

I can only speak for myself, but I haven't really seen any but a few black rightwingers come out as foresquare against obama - not some ominous groundswell like has been alluded to in this thread.

Does the name Herman Cain ring a bell?

He has many callers that ID themselves as being black Americans state they are not voting for Obama. - Their reasons vary.

I also have personal friends and clients that have expressed the same unwillingness to back Obama. - Their reasons vary.
I do talk politics with my clients and I cover a diverse demographic of people from all walks of life.

One reason that is consistent with most voicing opposition cite Obama's lack of real world experience and a willingness
to quickly change his steadfast policies for a new steadfast policy to get what he wants.

I'll put it another way: U Got 2 Stand 4 Something, or you'll fall for anything.
These black Americans have decided not to fall for Obama.
