Welcome to all a2k newbies..
Alert!
Tie-breaking rule
(used in A2K Fantasy Olympics 2004 and A2K Fantasy Winter Olympics 2006)
7. In the event participants tie in the number of points, the winner will be the one who makes the most points among Group D olympic national teams. If the tie continues, then the winner will be the one who makes the most points among Group C. If it is still a tie, the winner will be whoever makes the most points among Group B.

Yeah event though I selected Australia as 1 of my countries I will still be hoping for an NZ victory over them in every possible event!! What countries are everyone else from??
Hello fidell, nice to meet you. I hail from the state of Michigan. Good luck.
Off the top of my head, fidell: Canada, US, Mexico, England, Ireland, NZ and Aus. I think.
British possible medalists
Just had a look at the link for those pom hopefuls, it was scary how many times they thought a Kiwi could be the person to beat them to gold. Looking good for my team either way.
And MyOwnUsername (MOU) is from Croatia..
I live in the United States, fidell, but I was born in Germany. One of my cousins was on the Germany women's rowing team in the 1984 Olympics.
Does my heart good to see the new folks.
Room for one more new folks? Here's the FIGHTING GERBILS:
China Men
USA Men
Cuba
Romania
Ukraine
Austria
Bulgaria
Canada
Poland
Sweden
Chinese Taipei
Costa Rica
Croatia
New Zealand
Puerto Rico
May the mostly best team win.
patadaveloz, First of all, welcome to a2k. Thanks for providing the link to the BBC olympic contenders from the UK. Interesting list.
Awesome, the fighting gerbils. Hamsters run this site ...
The Fighting Gerbils are glad to be here!
I know nothing (well, not much) about the Olympics but I can trash talk. Perhaps it'll be in the form of verse. Hmm.
