Is it time to create a new United States? If so, how?

The irony is that this silly broad response is just as cliche and foolish as the premise it's intended to confront.

Since you are so above these base considerations, why do you bother?

Someone has to?

Damn! You're not going to take this stuff in silence!

It gets kudos from Fellow Travelers?

Having said that...

The premise of this thread is ridiculous, and would be fearful if it could be taken seriously.

There is nothing present or looming (Obama presidency) that remotely suggests America is in need of a group of pulp fiction addicts to rise up and secure her.

This is as idiotic a notion as that of the screwballs on the Left who insist Bush will nullify the Constitution before he leaves office.

On the Left we have idiots who want to see themselves as members of a comic book Resistance, and on the Right we have similar fools who want to see themselves as Patriotic vigilantes.

It makes for fine escapist fiction but is ludicrous when introduced into American reality.

Lest our left wing A2K friends think otherwise, there is virtually no difference between the clowns who think Liberal Commies are trying to dilute our bodily fluids, and those who believe Conservative Facists want to steal away all of our liberties
I had every intention of writing this... almost verbatim. Well done, Finn.

Congratulations Cjhsa! You now make a perfect bookend to fools like JTT.

Newsflash for you both: The sky is not falling.

You've always been the strangest kind of dittohead, regurgitating elementary school platitudes about the goodness of America. Bill, the Good American stands by while Iraqis die, while people are tortured. You're such a hypocrite; one, who by your own reckoning, is destined for hellfire.

You should try to show some consistency of thought, Bill. The charade of goodness is a worn and tired schtick.

Actually, it just felt good to say it to someone who is always saying it to others who are critical of American society and government.

Nothing more, nothing less.

That you react to it just as strongly as I do when it is said to others when they are critical of American society and government, I hope provides you an opportunity for a life lesson.
