In my opinion...
If you are easily baffled by bullshit - You can't vote!
If you smoke cigarettes - You can't vote!
If you ever called in your vote on American Idol - You can't vote!
If you are unable support The FairTax plan - You can't vote!
Please feel free to list who... in your opinion, can't vote. Have some fun with it
All right, there you go H2): If you support or are a Republican - you can't vote!
If you support or are a Democrat - you can't vote!
If you don't own a bicycle, you can't vote.
If you don't live with a dog, you can't vote.
If you can't identify a plum tomato, you can't vote.
If you have ever watched Geraldo, Jerry Springer, Oprah, Montel or any other daytime talk show you cant vote.
If you have ever watched daytime "soap operas" you cant vote.
If you have ever watched any type of "reality" show on TV you cant vote.
If you can't find north without a compass, you can't vote.
If you can't tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi, you can't vote.
If you've ever gone to a prom, you can't vote.
If you were born between the years 1914 and 2008 you can't vote
If you listen to Rush Limbaugh or the DAILY SHOW for informational content--you cant vote
If you aren't an American citizen you can't vote!
If you aren't over the age of 18 you can't vote!
If you are a convicted felon you can't vote!
If you read ANYTHING from Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, the Daily Kos, the Huffington Post, or any other politically biased source, you cant vote.
Excellent replies everybody - keep them coming
If you can't vote, you can't vote!
what'd'ya got against cigarettes? Also, I'm rabidly in favor of letting criminals vote - especially violent child-sex-offenders - these people are a national treasure which we have failed to channel - un-actualized American heroes, every damn one of 'em, especially the ones with recidivistic tendencies.
I mean, every time someone does something it's like 'OMFG, what a horrible person' like it's the first time anyone has ever had the audacity to do whatever. Then on the other hand I know a guy got mugged and thinks if they'd keep kids in school, get them successful it wouldn't happen, to which I say, I like my lunatics roaming the streets as opposed to my place of business. If this nation were under attack we could count our stars for having these very special individuals among us, in the meantime, we can at least have their insight and treat them with somekindof dignity...
As for the post - I don't like the setup - I'm a social Darwinist type, the world needs ditch diggers and such, but it's sloppy to make a thing out of ignoring the complexities. Like what do we really want? Other folk to do our thing (right bicycle enthusiasts?). How do we get it? I don't know, but I can say that in the form it will have to take, no solution to my mind, even if we could judge one another effectively, will involve squaring other Americans vibes...

i'm not an American citizen, I can vote.
I am changing the statement for myself, from "can't" to "should not, in my opinion" (I have given up contractions; it helps my brain think better).
- Those who believe their one vote does not count, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who do not get a positive feeling when they see the American flag, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who do not believe that the human race is the only race within homosapiens, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who do believe that there is such a thing as "too much education," should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who believe in a God, but do not subscribe to the thought, "God bless America," should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who believe that bullies just reflect survival of the strong, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who do not try to speak correct English, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who are atheists, but have a contempt for religious people, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who believe the best days of the United States have passed, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who think they are "entitled" to whatever, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who do not appreciate their right to vote, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who like versions of American history, where America is considered less than correct, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who do not appreciate the sacrifice given by men and women in our military's uniforms, should not vote, in my opinion.
- Those who did not take this thread seriously, should not vote, in my opinion.
Those who think I should not vote, should not vote, in my opinion.
Those who Foofie thinks should vote, should not vote, in my opinion.

Thank you for not using the contraction "shouldn't."
