Why do we allow such an obviously racist group to exist within our government?

They are just a group of Congress people who are actually lobbyists for a special interest group.

Why no Congressional White Caucus? When whites are the minority, will it still be politically incorrect?

I realize this thread may have been started just to yank some chains, but I'll answer anyways.

Minorities in America still haven't acheived what they consider fully equal status as whites in America. The CBC provides a forum for leaders of color in congress to discuss what they consider to be current issues facing minorities in America today. I do not see any harm in this, nor do I find it offensive. What better place to address these issues then with the representatives in Congress? Afterall, isn't that what they are supposed to do?

"Being as they don't get a special budget, no office space, no employees, etc,"

That is not entirely accurate.

"The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF) was established in 1976 as a non-partisan, non-profit, public policy, research and educational institute. Our mission is to serve as the non-partisan policy-oriented catalyst that educates future leaders and promotes collaboration among legislators, business leaders, minority-focused organizational leaders, and organized labor to effect positive and sustainable change in the African American community. To that end, CBCF works to broaden and elevate the influence of African Americans in the political, legislative, and public policy arenas. "

I prefer to think of my color as translucent, not white. Light goes right through me to wake up my melanin cells, so I have a summer tan.

But, I thought kindergarten was where I had to learn my colors, and color within the lines? Color really has no place in my life now. It is all based on what one believes in, and how one thinks, in my opinion.
