The "Change" We Need

I wear seatbelts because they help protect me in an accident.

I don't wear them because the government tells me to, or because they threaten me with a fine for not doing so.

Our government creates nanny laws like this BS, harassing its own citizens, and yet cannot control the borders.

This is the real change we need in government. Our government needs to get off the people's backs and repeal STUPID LAWS while enforcing the basic ones, while following the Constitution and Bill of Rights TO THE LETTER.

Obama doesn't get this. He is all about making new laws restricting your rights. Clinton doesn't get this. She wants to take away your choices in health care and force you to line up behind the homeless and illegal aliens at the Emergency room. McCain doesn't get it either. He is willing to compromise on critical Constitutional issues like gun ownership.

Basically, the left has got us where they want us in this election. Folks, we're fucked.

It's not a racist response at all and to be honest, I'm pretty disgusted with that tack.

I work for a living. I pay taxes - a LOT of taxes and a big chunk of change for healthcare, and I shouldn't be in line behind those that A. Don't and/or B. Are here ilegally.

I'll admit to not understanding how wealth or productivity should affect the order in which one is treated at the emergency room.

I might also mention that some of those folks you're so distressed about being behind at the emergency room would probably not be there if we provided basic health care to everyone. And there'd probably be more emergency rooms, because for-profit hospitals could afford to keep 'em open. But let's not get your rant all bogged down with facts.

Amen brother - these bleeding-heart pinkos can tell you all about why the war is stupid (I'm not saying it ain't but there are subtleties at work) - but they don't understand what the G is in and of itself. It's all about teaching people a lesson anymore, someone wants something they want it at the federal level like it'll ruin their day if Alaska don't step-in-line. If Hilly and the ****-hole states can teach us anything it's that what works for some might not work for others.

The content of what you said - I've been on both ends of worse than that (for breakfast). The place you lose me is when nobody responds and then you get inflammatory - the Liberals tend to be worse about drawing lines in the sand for-effect, but then it all boils down to the mindset of showing some other group of Americans what time it is...
