Mccain spokesman says NC Repubs will not air controversial ad aimed at Obama; NC Repubs say not true, the ad will air beginning next week. I guess the repubs have a bigger tent that was previously thought. Solidarity behind their candidate or self-inflicted gunshot to head? The repubs are really beginning to look like dems.

McCain senior adviser Charlie Black said he had been informed by the Republican National Committee's representative in North Carolina, that the state party had agreed to withdraw the ad.

In the meantime, McCain got only 71% or so of the vote the other night, Paul and Huckabee splitting the rest.
