Keep means it's mine and you can't have it.
Bear means it's right here with me.
Shall not be infringed means "F*** you and drive safely".

The list for Democratic VP just got shorter.

Sebelius shoots herself in the foot with gun law.

Quote:
TOPEKA, Kan. - Kansans will be able to own machine guns, other fully automatic weapons, sawed-off shotguns and silencers starting July 1.

Gov. Kathleen Sebelius signed a bill Monday to legalize the possession of such weapons.

Good for her, but state law cannot usurp federal law which prevents owning such weapons (you can if you possess a FFL 3 license, and only if the full-auto weapons precede by manufacturing date of a national cutoff).

Clearly that article was written by someone with an anti-gun stance and a definite lack of understanding. At least they got the part right about machine guns costing over $20,000. They didn't say why though when a new semi-auto COULD be (illegally) converted to full auto for basically nothing. Again the reason: National cutoff date.

The amount of legal to own fully automatic weapons is finite. Period. That is why they cost so much.
