I don't do French Wolf. Frank Harris, who was multi-lingual to say the least, said that it was a mistake to learn a foreign language. And I'll go with anything that guy said.

Sadly I never heard of Frank Harris, Spendius; another of the many lacunae in my education.

You, however, appear wholly ignorant of the writings of one ot the greatest American philosophers, Kenneth Rogers. Excerpt:

Quote:
You got to know when to hold em,
know when to fold em,
Know when to walk away
and know when to run....

Ponder these lines at your convenience - the thread will thank you Smile

The "First Edition" Kenneth Rogers is most apt also:
Quote:
I woke up this mornin' with the sundown shinin' in
I found my mind in a brown paper bag within
I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

Never heard of him.

And I can see why.

Some may argue Kenneth Rogers is an adjunct to your beloved Robert Zimmerman.

..............ah, but do how do they wake up?

Quote:
He went like one that hath been stunned,
And is of sense forlorn :
A sadder and a wiser man,
He rose the morrow morn.

Chumly - if he never heard of The Ancient Mariner we might as well give up our feeble stab at educating him Smile

Considering the depths he may have sunk to, perhaps he might be more comfortable with the ancient submariner

Perhaps you're caught somewhere between the nail clippings and the bowl of clam chowder. Did you click on the link as per Post: 3200748?

It seemed to consist of all that boring stuff they do at the tennis club.

Didn't Jean Paul Sartre do the Chowder Chuck best?

To prove that using real chowder was for ministers of religion and others respectably brought up?

The smallest @ 60 - 70 beats per second,
the largest @ 8 - 10 beats per second,
the most common @ 55 - 75 beats per second,

a low friction coefficient is required!

You realize the two of you are a match made in some primordial humour stew in the outer hells...

I'm fascinated, don't let me interrupt.

Remember though, lubricants which dissolve working surfaces defeat their purpose.
