A friend of mine is moving to Austin. I told him that I could probably ask around if he had any questions about the area (Chai, Shewolf, Dadpad, there are more right?) and he came right back with a question... know any good housepainters? (Inside, walls and stuff, not outside.)

Sorry, don't know about housepainters either.
But....I can tell him where he can get free breakfast (crullers & coffee) on Sundays , at the Jehovah Witness place down the street from me.
It's right near the used car lot that proudly displays it's feeling about the economy in 3 foot letters on the side of the building....

He is too actually but will be moving and then starting a job immediately and the house is gorgeous except for lots of REALLY BAD wallpaper (80's powder-blue flowers and such) so he wants this done stat.
