US and its hang-by dependants turn 2008 Beijing Olympics into a political issue!
Well-well, what we've got now, huh? I can read that political leaders in Great Britain, France, Germany and Australia as well as Eastern European leaders from the Czech Republic, Poland and Estonia have already said they would skip the Summer Games' opening ceremonies in Beijing. Don't you find it curious that these are all pro-US countries that are calling for a boycott of the Beijing Olympics? Isn't it suspicious? As I can see, they are all under America's thumb and it is Washington itself that gives them directions in order to have means of bearing pressure upon China!
Yet still, is it OK doing like that? I mean, that's sports and it is absolutely wrong turning it into a political issue! How can they find it possible to exert pressure upon International Olympic Committee!? Let us enjoy the Games, not cry about some matters that bear no relation to Olympics! Since the very start Olympic games stood separate from politics and all that gripe sessions. So let us not step out of line for this kills the very spirit of Olympic games! As for the US and leaders of France, Germany, GB, Poland, Estonia, etc. let it be their shame! They just want to make a mess of Olympics, that's it. Shame on them!

Ummmm... Yeah. You forgot to mention that China had no problem boycotting the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow in protest of the Soviet Union's invasion of Afganistan.

What's good for the panda...

Oh, and by the way, the Ruskis and most Soviet-block countries boycotted the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Now this clown has got his tit in the wringer.

I can't tell if the pun was intended or not.

E-Brown--

Assume nothing, suspect everything. I'm devious. We're cowardly custards, too.

Incidentally, Bush is planning to attend the Olympics, opening ceremonies and all.
