How do you handle a situation where the boss keeps "moving the goal posts" in order to keep from paying raises to the people he doesn't have a social relationship with? The highest paid employees in the company are personal friends of the top management and recently all received raises but to us in the "trench" we got a big fat nothing.
i would look for another job.
it sounds like you are in a no-win situation...
