i just read the most idiotic thing ever.

It seems you have to have state credentials to teach your children at home.

The united states school system (for me at least) was an absolute failure, why are they forcing us to adopt it? hopefully they dont take this further than california.

"A primary purpose of the educational system is to train school children in good citizenship, patriotism and loyalty to the state and the nation as a means of protecting the public welfare," the judge wrote, quoting from a 1961 case on a similar issue.

i went to school to learn, no ******* wonder i didn't fit in.
THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE SCHOOL SYSTEM SHOULD BE TO EDUCATE!

what is going on?

I happen to live in California and I think it is a good idea that parents
who contemplate homeschooling their kids have at least the necessary
qualifications to do so.

I am all for it! Aside from the fact that I think homeschooling is not
the best method anyway to raise a well-rounded, educated person
with good people skills.

i disagree.

the only good thing about school is the courses they teach, its just the fact there are other kids around to socialize with
