1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
Heterosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of heaven either... because there is no marriage in heaven... Give that some thought Snood.
Sometimes it is what is not written that sheds the greatest light on God's kingdom of "righteousness".
Matthew 22:30
For in the resurrection
they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Mark 12:25
For when they shall rise from the dead,
they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Comment: So much for virgins and beer...
Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Comment: Sometimes what we impose on others in this life comes back upon us in the end.
A person's sexuality or behavior does not necessarily encompass the entire being.
There will not even be any remembrance of this world in the next.
The Bible says homosexuality is an "abomination" yet eating pork is also an "abomination".
WHY? Because promiscuity was causing people to get sick just as eating improperly cured ham was causing death also. So look at the heart of the scriptures rather than the letter of the law.
It is an abomination to put the body into a situation where STD's are likely to bring sickness and possible death. God ultimately judges the heart.
