Excerpt:

WASHINGTON (AP) ?- Ralph Nader could be poised for another third party presidential campaign.

The consumer advocate will appear on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday. Nader launched his 2004 presidential run on the show.

A spokesman for Nader did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Kevin Zeese, who was Nader's spokesman during the 2004 presidential race, but is no longer working for him, said Friday that Nader has been actively talking to "lots of people on all sorts of levels" about the possibility of making another run.

Zeese said he could only guess what Nader might do, but added:

"Obviously, I don't think ("Meet the Press" host) Tim Russert would have him on for no reason."

Last month, Nader began an exploratory presidential campaign and launched a Web site that promises to fight "corporate greed, corporate power, corporate control."

Nadar is the secret weapon of the Republicans. He is intentially planted to steal away votes from Democrats thus ensuring a Republican victory.

I recently watched "An Unreasonable Man", a documentary about Nader. He did some great things for the American consumer and has certainly saved many lives in the process, but I think his "Evangelism" is making him lose all perspective. He is a very odd man on many levels. Even if he magically found himself in The White House, I think the country would come to stand still because the Senate and Congress would never walk away from their lobbyist loyalties for the sake of Nader's idealism. It just seems like a waste of his energies and our attention.

I'm just listening to an interview with him on CBC radio. He's certainly got a number of very good points to make.

I wish the 'threat' of him running had moved at least one viable Dem candidate to move closer to the political centre.

Right, right and not viable. I can't imagine what I'd do if I had to vote in the U.S.

I just read the definition of the word "scapegoat", and there's a picture of Ralph Nader right there next to it. (seriously!)
