Francis - I think you mean embers - as in dying embers (instead of ambers)
Amber is a resin or a color - it's not alive so it can't die...although I guess embers aren't really alive either and people do say dying embers.

Silly putty's even nicer during INTERMISSION...

*sillly putty is this sort of clay stuff we used to play with when we were kids in America - you could make balls and bounce it or flatten it out on the funny papers and transfer comic strips - stuff like that - did they have that in France? I don't think they make it anymore - it used to come in a little plastic egg.

"Dying ambers" was okay by me. I assumed you forgot the ' as in "amber's. Like in Forever Amber a tale of naughty goings on.
